OUR MISSION
We aim at closing the attainment gap between the most disadvantaged children and their advantaged peers through extra tuition in priority subject areas.
We choose through a rigorous selection process, need-based assessment of priority areas, e.g. disability, vulnerable groups, etc.
OUR STORY
The Oxford Armenia Foundation was created in December 2020. The decision to set up OAF came as a response to the aftermath of the devastating 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh/Artsakh war that has left nearly a hundred thousand Armenians displaced and uprooted and has caused a deep socioeconomic crisis in Armenia. In these dire times for Armenia and Armenians, our team has come together to give back to the country that made us who we are and to contribute to its brighter future.

Bringing Quality Education to Rural Armenia
Summer 2023
Oxford Armenia Foundation and Books for Hope Armenia are non-profit educational charities working together to strengthen the literacy, numeracy skills and well-being of children and young adults in rural schools and communities.

'It's Spring / Գարուն է' was an online fundraising concert organised on May 15, 2021 by the Oxford Armenia Foundation to raise funds for our first educational project - Tackling Educational Disadvantage in Rural Armenia
